The Integrated Systems Organization (ISO) of Intel, Hillsboro, Oregon, is looking for an experience EE type to work in the Evaluation Engineering department. The requisition reads more or less as follows: Qualifications: Experienced developer and/or evaluator of system or board level hardware (preferably including processors, memories, controllers, and peripherals for microprocessor-based system products. Strong knowledge of controllers and magnetic-media peripherals is essential. Some previous experience with diagnostic software and Unix-based operating systems is preferred. Requires BSEE or equivalent plus two to five years of relevant experience or MS plus one to four years applicable experience. Project leadership experience or potential would be helpful in this growing organization. Duties: Evaluate system-level hardware for the ISO System 310 and its progeny; integrate new diagnostic and system software with the new hardware and evaluate the total system. Participate in specification,planning, and scheduling of new products. Develop evaluation plans and perform rigorous evaluations to assure customers receive quality products.
