do you mean a language sensitive editor and/or online help for LaTeX
functions? one solution (depends on whether you are a died-in-the-wool
Macer) is using MicroEmacs on your Mac to edit your LaTeX source and writing
macros for that which understand LaTeX. A colleague of mine wrote a
set of basic commands, but I don't know enough about ME on the Mac to
know how to load them in (I've never tried). If that makes you happy,
then just get the excellent OzTeX package, which is public domain. It
includes a previewer.

if the moral is, spend your effort on the editor, and get the TeXery
for free.
