Intel Corp. in Santa Clara has the following openings :
1. Software Engineer - Implement compilers for PASCAL,
Fortran and/or PL/M. Targeted for the 86 family
of microprocessors. BS or MS in CS plus 1-5 years
experience with compiler tools or software portation.
2. Software Engineer - Design and implement state of the art
Code Generator and Optimizer for the 386. MS or PhD
in CS plus 5+ years experience in compiler construction.
3. Technical Writer - Write programmer's reference manuals
and architecture reference manuals for data communications
products. BS, BA or AA in technical writing with
strong background in CS plus 3-5 years software
technical writing experience.
4. Technical Writer - Research, design, write and edit
system, application and language manuals. BS or BA
in Math, CS, English or technical writing plus 4+
years writing experience plus programming experience
in at least two high-level languages.
5. Editor - Perform literary edit of technical manuals for
software development group to ensure clear, consistent
writing style and organization. BS or MS in English
plus 1 year of experience.
6. Software Engineer - Provide technical supervision for
3-5 software evaluation engineers, analyze and approve
specifications, review internal designs and coding,
develop tools and tests for program environment tools.
BS or MS in CS/EE plus 3-6 years experience in the
design/development and evaluation of microprocessor
software, including editors, debuggers and graphics.
7. Software Engineer - Evaluation engineer to analyze and
approve specifications, review internal design,
review and approve test plans, write and implement
integration and evaluation plans, and develop tools
and tests for evaluating combined HW/SW systems.
BS or MS in CS/EE plus 3-5 years experience in the
design, development, integration and evaluation
of microprocessor software.
8. Software Engineer - Specify, design, implement and
document system software to support existing products
on the Xenix-286 development systems. These include
the RMX support tools and an ISIS/iNDX command syntax
tool. BS/MS in CS or related field plus 3-5 years
experience in the design and implementation of
system software. Knowledge of Unix/C desirable.
9. Software Engineer - Design, specify and help prototype
an advanced human-interface software subsystem
for software/hardware development, and develop
instrumentation tools to improve user productivity.
Work involves researching, architecting, and assessing
the feasability and performance of state of the art
user interfaces for interactive software on graphics
oriented workstations. Work also involves participating
in cross-operation and cross-company standardization
and collaboration effort, negotiations and reviews.
3-6 years experience in systems software design,
implementation with 2 years minimum experience in the
design of human-interface/graphics related software.
MS in CS/EE/Electronics. PhD preferred.
