Thanks for any suggestions. Assuming you are working with Windows 3... Configure, using the control panel, the printer that you will eventually be printing to and set it to "FILE" instead of an LPT or COM port. When you go to print, choose the printer on "FILE" from the printer choices in the "PRINT" dialogue box. Set your options and click on "OK". It will go to print, as per usual, but just before the data starts to flow, you will be prompted for a filename to print to. There are a number of considerations to take into account when doing this, most are not a problem if you are using PostScript (pardon my ignorance, is the TI microlaser PostScript?). Keep your Windows manual handy when you do it and you should be okay. cheers adam p.s. I am based in Vancouver. When you select that printer, the output goes to a file. I don't remember all the details since I did it only once or twice (about a year ago). If you are using a PCL printer, I think I ran into some problems with the soft fonts not being put in the file by PageMaker. Good luck. Maybe someone that has done it more recently can be of more help. Bob Pentecost HP - Network Printer Operation Boise, ID
