I am looking for a summer job in the Murray Hill area.
Currently I am a freshman at Princeton University, planning
to major in some science, probably molecular biology.
Last year I worked at Bell Labs for Carol Maclennan and
Lou Lanzerotti in the Electromagnetic Phenomena Research
Department (Dept. 11133). My job involved computer processing
of data about the earth's magnetosphere.
I have been using UNIX for almost four years. I am
experienced in the use of two text editors (ed and vi) and
have used the shells sh and csh. I can program in BASIC
and PASCAL. I know some C, and plan to learn more this
summer. I am also a fast and accurate typist.
This semester I took a course in PASCAL. The programs
I have written include a text formatter, a graphics language
interpreter, and an interactive database program. My latest
program attempts to solve the notorious traveling salesman
problem.
I will be available to work from June 4 to August 31.
I would like full-time, or at least half-time, employment.
For a copy of my resume, send mail to me at rabbit!nomi,
