[comp.text.desktop] Quark Xpress update

For those who are interested, Quark, Inc. is about to release version 3.1 of
their layout program Xpress. It will incorporate a number of new features, the
most of important of which is to discard the Xpress Data file & store kerning
& system customizing information with each document created. In place of
Xpress Data, there will be an Xpress Preferences file. Also, many of the
features released in an Xtension file (live scroll, page grabber, etc.) will
now be incorporated into the program itself, I believe.
 
This is straight from a "delta" version of the manual received from the
marketing division of Quark.
