Someone recently noticed a minor ELM problem that has been bothering me
too, namely that ELM cannot read a mail file if the top line is blank.
The fix looks pretty easy (test for a blank line, go on to the next if
the top line is blank), but I am a bit wary of making an off-the-wall
patch that might really start screwing up mail files. Has anyone fixed
this?
A related problem is that when ELM rewrites the mail file, it unlinks it
(like using mv instead of cp to replace a linked file). I have some of
my alternate mail files linked, so this is a pain. Again, anyone
looking at this one? I could probably fix it myself, but ELM is such a
big package that I worry about side effects every time I touch it.
