The software languages group of the Microcomputer Systems Division of National Semiconductors, Santa Clara, is looking for a person to supply support for the language tools both in the area of cross support, on a VAX, and native support on our SYS16 running under GENIX(TM). We are looking for persons with a background in code optimization and code generation as well as knowledge of, or experience in, the latest code generation technologies. This person should be capable of the design and implementation of a "state of the art" code generator, and be able to impart that knowledge to other members of the project.
