Systems Programmer Four year (BA/BS) degree in computer science and a minimum of three years experience with the UNIX operating system including C, Pascal and Assembler languages. At least one of these years doing system maintenance and modi- fication to kernel, drivers and other system software. Experience with Berkeley (4.2) UNIX in a university environ- ment very desirable. Must have some experience with operating system perfor- mance monitoring and tuning. Experience with networking software and distributed file systems is highly desirable. Hardware knowledge, particularly DEC VAXes, PDP-lls, SUNs and MASSCOMPs, required. Good written and oral skills required. Excellent interpersonal relations a must. Experience in a user sup- port organization is a plus. Should be highly goal motivated, familiar with working towards set objectives and well disciplined. Capable of working with minimal supervision.
