[comp.mail.elm] Elm sort by date/time

I am using ELM and have it set up to sort incoming messages by the
time/date they were sent.  I've noticed that this works fine, unless
the message was sent between 12:00 and 1:00.  In this case the time
appears as 12:09(noon), and ELM does not sort it correctly (due to 
the alphabetics?).  Has this already been noted?  Is there a fix?
