Earlier tonight I posted a reply to a specific message about a new
command in the development system. This person did not refer to the
fact that this was a development system version they were running.
First for those out there using Elm on sites that are part of the
development groups, but not developers themselves, if the version
number ends in d, its a development version (2.2d), if it ends in
t (2.2t), is the prerelease test version.
While I don't mind friendy discussion of features, policies, etc
of the development versions in this newsgroup, I do mind discussions
of bugs, problems, or "trial balloons" in this group. Now, note,
that message was not out of bounds, except for not saying this is
related to the development version, as it discussed whether a feature
was proper.
Please forward development related messages to elm@dsinc for forwarding
to the development group.
Thanks for your cooperation, with your help we can get Elm out on time
and save a lot of 'When's it coming out' questions.
