[comp.mail.elm] A question from the past

Some time ago, there was a proposal/suggestion from the Japanese side of
HP to "tighten up" the Elm code, and then re-release it.

What is the status of this project? Is it still alive? Has it been
superceded by the current Elm Developement Group? Is it now a dead
issue?

It is alive. Implementation is almost finished.
We fixed many bugs on HP-UX and added some friendly functions.
And the new source codes will released to Elm coordinator.
