I am running elm 2.2 PL0. I have not been able to figure out how to
install the system alias file. I have done it before with 2.1 PL1 with
no problem, but 2.2 says:
Updating your personal alias file...
Couldn't open //.elm/aliases.text for input!
I do not want to update the root personal alias file, I want to update
the system alias file. newalias 2.1 did this by default. How can I do
this? -David-

Use the -g flag on the command line. At least that's what the manual says.
