Hello ELM world, our users here have found an annoying thing about ELM 2.2. In the past (ELM 2.1, that is), it was possible to attach a local signature (say '.siglocal') to all mail internal to our company. We are running smail 2.5 as MTA and have all mail users registered in a local alias file, so to mail to user xxx at machine yyy within the company, all I had to do was to mail to 'xxx', and smail would know where to send it (and ELM would append .siglocal) We're now running ELM 2.2 PL7, and having just been awarded (;-) a domain (.pcs.com), I wanted ELM to use this. So I told it to check our local alias file and append .PCS.COM to all mail. Now this happens: I mail to user xxx, ELM checks the local alias file, finds user xxx at machine yyy and expands the adress to xxx@yyy.PCS.COM -> hey presto, a remote machine, so we append the remote signature ;-(. How do I change this? What am I doing wrong? All hints are appreciated --- Mike Schroeder PCS-Mail: msc SNAIL: PCS GmbH; Pfaelzer-Wald-Str. 36; D-8000 Muenchen 90; W.
