I seem to have uncovered a strange behaviour in elm 2.2 PL0. If I bounce a message that I have received from person A to person B and then person B does a group reply to that message, the To: line in the header has my login name (as expected, I guess), but the comment attached to it in parentheses has the name of Person A. Specifically, it looked like this: To: don (Brian Klinker) The name in parentheses was the full name of the person who sent me the message originally and this was in the header of the message I recieved in reply from the person (B) to whom I bounced it. It would seem that this is abnormal. Also, person A did not get a copy of the group reply to the bounced message. I do not have a lot of knowledge of mail standards regarding this, but I would think that person A should have gotten a copy of the group reply in addition to the header line having my full name and not that of the original sender. If I am incorrect, please tell me how this should work. If this is fixed in one of the patches to elm, sorry for the inconvenience of this posting, but I have not had a chance yet to implement the patches since the signature problem in patch 8 reared its ugly head. -- Don Woelz {ames, rutgers, harvard}!uwvax!uwmcsd4!grc!don GENROCO, Inc.
