I've been using elm2.2 on the Multiflow Trace (4.3BSD) for a few weeks now, so I thought I'd convert my home system also, but I'm having a few problems: 1) when I send mail there is blank line between the smail headers and the elm headers: From bronson!tan Tue Jun 6 09:22:31 1989 Return-Path: <bronson!tan> Received: by m6.multiflow.com; Tue, 6 Jun 89 09:22:29 EDT Received: by m3.multiflow.com; Tue, 6 Jun 89 09:22:24 EDT Received: by Microvation.com (smail2.5) id AA03941; 6 Jun 89 08:40:34 EDT (Tue) To: bronson@mfci Date: Tue Jun 6 08:40:34 1989 Message-Id: <8906060840.AA03941@Microvation.com> From: tan@Microvation.com (Tan Bronson) Status: OR Subject: Forwarded mail... To: bronson@mfci Date: Tue, 6 Jun 89 8:40:33 EDT X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.2 PL2] Is this correct or an interaction between elm/smail2.5? 2) Should I tell elm about the pathalias data files used by smail, or should I let smail do all the work? It seems unnecessary for elm to do work, smail is already doing. 3) Should I tell elm about the Microvation.COM domain, or should I let smail do all the work? Does anyone out there use the same combination as I do and have it working correctly?
