Here is a forwarded comment from one of my users:


    if i give ELM a new folder that is corrupt (or just not in the proper
    format), ELM bails.  Is it possible that ELM could just give an error
    message and then go back to the prompt instead of exiting?  that seems to
    be a severe action to take in response to a bad file.
