[comp.mail.elm] A feature of Elm 2.2 patch #9

chip@ateng.com (Chip Salzenberg) (06/13/89)

This article is intended to keep everyone from being very surprised at the
behavior of Elm 2.2 PL9. Patch #9 returns to the original behavior in two
areas, namely:

    1. The 'q' command now quits immediately if 'ask = OFF', and asks
questions if 'ask = ON'. (The 'Q' command retains its behavior of
        always quitting immediately.)

    2. The signature is now included in the edit buffer when an external
        editor is used.

These changes have been requested by many a user, including myself. I'm
sure that most people will be very happy about these changes, but I don't
like surprises from my mailer and I expect you don't either.
