ENGINEERING MULTI-USER COMPUTER FACILITY MANAGER
We currently use three DEC Vax 11/750 computers running 4.2BSD UNIX,
a Vax 11/780 running VMS for SciCARDS PCB layout, and an Applicon system
for PCB layout. Terminal networking is via Tellabs packet-switching
products, and the UNIX systems are networked via Ethernet. Further
hardware expansion is planned in the near future. For consideration,
you should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a related role with
a working knowledge of UNIX and VMS. Familiarity with CAD would be helpful.
SOFTWARE ENGINEERS -- DATA PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT
Suitable candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 4 years of software
development experience including a working knowledge of the C programming
language in either real-time microprocessor software and/or data
communication protocols.
SOFTWARE ENGINEERS -- SWITCHING SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
Position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in microprocessor software
development, including a working knowledge of the C programming language
and a background in real-time product development. Telecommunications
experience is a plus. This is a senior level position leading to project
level responsibility.
