I have made this recommendation before, when we were using elm 2.1, but it looks like it was not included in 2.2. I think the handling a newly arriving messages is a little clumsy. I sort my folder in Mailbox Order, so this might prove impractical for other sorting methods. Anyway, when a new message arrives, I often want to read it after the last previous message. It would make sense if I could just press 'n' to start reading it. Instead I must go back to the menu, press down-arrow, and return. If I am already in the menu, I must press some key (any key, usually down arrow) to force elm to read in the new message. Now this key I press has no effect, so I must press down-arrow again to get to the new message. Finally I can press return to read the new message. It sure would be nice if I could just press 'n' to read the new message. -David- Bitnet: david@wubios.wustl ^ Mr. David J.
