I have a certain problem, but I do not know what the ideal solution would be. I prefer to maintain my aliases.text file by an external method instead of using the 'a' command in the elm menu. The reasons for this are complex, but valid. The problem is, should I change this file while within an elm session, and run newalias, then elm gets very confused. Often I will send mail to an alias, and the generated header will look something like 'To: ex)'. It will not be properly delivered when sent. I need some way to resynchronize elm with the new aliases file. My present solution is to exit and reenter elm. I have not tried '$', but that would not be any faster. It seems reasonable that elm should automagically re-read the aliases information when it has changed. -David- Bitnet: david@wubios.wustl ^ Mr. David J.
