I am running elm 2.2.9 on a sun 3/280 under SunOS 3.5. Periodically elm comes back with 'cannot invokke editor /usr/ucb/vi' after a reply or forwarded message has been edited. The edits (which some time take quite a while to generate, the way we type around here ;-) ), are lost. I can't seem to track this problem to any particualr type of message, recipient, or action. Has anyone else had this problem ? Yes, same thing here on a Sun 3/160 SunOS 4.0.3 I just retrieve my letter from /tmp and go at it again. Hasn't ever happened twice in a row. I do not have a clue as to what is happening. Steve.
