Hi ELMers
A few days ago, I have installed ELM2.2 PL0 on my Machine.
It's a Plexus P/55 with UNIX SystemV.2.
Now I have a little problem:
When I change to the folder "=sent" (which is the folder who contains the
sent messages) I get the error message :
"Folder is corrupt. Can't read it!"
and then ELM terminate.
What's wrong?
Another question:
Is there an archive in europe from where I get the last patches to ELM2.2 ??
Regards
Daniel

In article <621@aut.UUCP> huber@aut.UUCP (Huber Daniel) writes:

The problem might be that your mailer writes From_ lines that look like:
From huber <date and time> remote from aut
instead of:
From aut!huber <date and time>
Elm cannot does not recognize "remote from" lines, and produces the
"mailbox corrupt" message when it encounters one. I am contemplating
trying to patch it to fix that, as I regularly get mail from sites
that produce such From_ lines. Whether or not such lines conform to
any RFC, they are common existing practice and I consider it a bug in
Elm that they are not supported.
