We've got a utility here that looks in a file for matching names and prints out things like phone number, mailstop and email address. We were thinking it would be a nice thing to integrate into elm, so you can type part of a name and have it automatically stick in an address. Current thoughts are a little on the crude side (if "To:" is '?', run script and take whatever comes back as a list of addresses; the script would connect to /dev/tty and do various things giving the use a chance to edit the list before cat'ing the list to the provided stdout). Anyhow, I thought I'd see if anybody was working on similar ideas before I go off and re-invent the wheel... -- Alan Batie +1 503-696-4101 batie@aahz.hf.intel.com uunet!intelhf!aahz!batie "A mind is like a parachute: it only functions when open." -- Alan Batie +1 503-696-4101 batie@aahz.hf.intel.com uunet!intelhf!aahz!batie "A mind is like a parachute: it only functions when open."
