[comp.mail.elm] What defines a local address?

My elmrc file lets me set two files as signature files, one 
for 'remote' sites and one for 'local' sites.  My sendmail 
program writes all return addresses in the form of
<user>@msd.gatech.edu for all messages.  So if I mail to 
<user> with the m command I get the local sig file, but if
I reply to a local message with r then elm sees the @...
and assumes remote address.  Can I tell elm that @msd.gatech.edu
is local also so this won't happen??
