I have installed Elm 2.3 on our sun network and it seems to be working ok, although I have not tested all of it. I am having problems with autoreply, though. Our configuration is a network of 40+ Sun network stations. A user may login to any of the free machines and read his mail. The mail directory is NFS mounted. The problem as I see is that autoreply creates the /etc/autoreply.data file. This means that a user will have to login to all the machines for the autoreply to work. Also, one needs to run the arepdaemon on all the machine. Would it not be possible to create the autoreply.data and autoreply.log file in individual user's home directory? Is there a better way to set up these in the network environment? Thanks for any suggestions. ----- Narendra Mehta Systems and Computer Eng.
