I can not get the Hostname Routing Database feature of elm to work. I have elm 2.2 and elm 2.3 running on various machines and I seem to have the same problem on all machines and versions of elm. I am afraid the answer to this problem is going to something that I have over looked, but I have read and re-read the manuals. On machine uuxsdp: /usr/local/lib/nmail.paths: escob2<tab>escob1!escob2!%s Typing: elm escob2!user Results in error message: Couldn't expand system escob2!user Typing: elm escob2 Results in the "To:" field looking like: To: escob5 mac I know that the pathalias file is being opened and parsed, for if I null out nmail.paths, I no longer get the error messages. Of course uucp fails after elm hands it off. Any help would be appreciated, as I said, it is probably something simple that I am overlooking - but I have given up. -- David G.
