I though of what I'd consider a great feature to add to elm. I'm not sure if it could be implemented or if there isn't already a way to do this, but here goes... Often you will get mail from a lot of different people (say as a reply to some posting) and would like to reply to each of them thanking them for their help (and maybe summarizing the best response) in addition to posting a summary. Well you could respond to each message with (r)eply and then include some file with a prepared message but you might need to do this 20-40+ times! (I know it's only a few keystrokes each time but it does add up.) What I'd like to see is (r)eply to work on a group of tagged files by copying all the addresses to the To: line, and then prompt for the Subject: (perhaps even defaulting the Subject to Re: <whatever the fist tagged subject is>) Of course you couldn't have an option for including previous message text but in this case you wouln't want it (at least I wouldn't). You could even expand this behavior to (g)roup reply and (b)ounce. Any comments? Thanks, Robert BTW elm is *already* the neatest thing since sliced bread! -- | Robert L.
