Why can't answer use the system aliases file? I know that it does a bit more in alias lookup, but if it failed in the user's local aliases, why not take a stab at the system file? Answer is generally used by the very people who cannot be expected to be able to take care of their alias files. Everytime someone new starts, I have to update too many personal alias files. -larry
