[comp.mail.elm] Patch for hostname! pasting on reply addresses

I am greatly annoyed at having a simple To: list of five names expaneded
to two lines of Cc: in group replies, and at having elm use my remote
signature on replies to local mail, since it's added the hostname.  I
read the conversations about this, and understand the arguments on both
sides (basically "What about silly users who make aliases that match
real logins" vs. "What about them?  That's a silly thing to do and the
fix is quite annoying").

I know there isn't an official patch (not even a configuration option,
grrr) but I'd really appreciate if anyone had an unofficial patch to
fix this that they could send me.
