COMPANY BACKGROUND:

   UniSoft Systems of Berkeley, California, is a systems 
   software house that has been in existence for 2 1/2 years.  
   We specialize in microprocessor-based computer systems.
   Our major product is UniPlus+, a high-performance UNIX* system, 
   which has been transported to over 75 different computer systems.  
   UniSoft also offers integrated local area networking support 
   as well as numerous application packages for UniPlus+. 
   UniSoft currently has approximately 40 employees and is 
   rapidly expanding.  UniSoft provides ample opportunity 
   for growth and advancement and has a relaxed and casual 
   atmosphere. 


JOB DESCRIPTION

   UniSoft is seeking Systems Programmers and Project Leaders 
   for full-time, permanent positions.  There are several openings
   in the following areas:

   1. Porting UNIX to Microprocessors. 
      The porting process encompasses integrating new hardware 
      into existing kernel software as well as designing and 
      implementing new kernel configurations for additional 
      microprocessors.

   2. Developing Kernel Enhancements. 
      Specification and design of additional, innovative kernel 
      features and services need to be developed and implemented.

   3. Developing Additional UNIX Software. 
      A creative person is needed to do standard UNIX utility 
      enhancements and to specify, design and implement new 
      utility software.



QUALIFICATIONS

   1. The entry level positions require a minimum of 1 year of 
      intensive "C" and UNIX experience.   UNIX kernel experience 
      is preferred.

   2. All candidates will need communication skills and should have 
      the ability to work cooperatively with peers and customers.
