[comp.mail.elm] Problem in Elm 2.3 with bounced messages

When bouncing messages from Elm 2.3 (we're on PL6), I will invariably get
an error message about a bad (control?) character in the "From" line. Then
I simply forward the message instead, but does anyone out there have a fix
for this? There's nothing wrong with the From line. I *am* using MMDF and
perhaps the control-A's are doing it? Thanks in advance.
