[comp.mail.elm] Editing the current alias list

billd@infmx.informix.com (William Daul) (11/06/90)

Is there a quick way to edit your alias list? Can I edit aliases.text and
use the results or do I have to somehow recompile some aliases file?

I shouldn't have to reenter an entire address with a minor change!

Thanks, --Bi((

Edit your aliases.text file so it reads as you want.
Then run newalias to update the database.

Get in your .elm directory, edit your aliases.text, run newalias,
and you'll be all set.
