johnpro@ipc.uucp (John Babbitt) (11/13/90)
I have a new link to an ELM site. However, this site would only accept the address form of "user@domain". It would not accept "host!user@domain", "host!user", nor "user@host.UUCP". In other words, it doesn't accept UUCP-style addressing. The sysad over there said that he doesn't have the time to figure out how to format the sendmail.cf file to accept both domain-style, uucp-style, and mixed-style addressings. He's using ELM version 2.2 PL0. I know some of you must have figured out the proper way to configurate the sendmail.cf, so if you would =please= send me instructions and examples of how to do this, I would very much appreciate your help. I know I will get blasted by 1000+ mail with answers, but that's perfectly OK with me, so if you figured someone already answered my questions, send in your answer to me anyways. Thanks. Oh, and please send me the answers direct, do not post, as I do not read this (much). Thanks! John E.
