[comp.mail.elm] Help sought on the file filter-rules.

th@teda.UUCP (Tivonne Ha) (02/23/91)

Greeting, netters,
I have a couple of questions re: elm. I currently use Elm 2.3.
* FIRST one is about the filter-rules file:
	I set up one rule to be:
to "teda!th" ? save '//ctsun1_unit2/th/pers'

Unfortunately, my file folder was read by the fiter program to be
//ctsun1 unit2/th/pers  (*notice the missing underscore '_'*)
Is there a way to get around this by preserving the underscore and not have
Elm translate it to be a space?
I tried different variations of my home directory such as:
~th/pers, $HOME/pers ,
but they would all result in: SAVE FAILED for file "..." by rule #1.
Any light shed on this problem is much appreciated. (but not renaming the
disk, please!)

* SECOND is about patch 11: I heard that this patch fixes the newalias
	problem. If you have the elm2.3 path 11, could you please let me
	have a copy?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
