mjhammel@Kepler.dell.com (Michael J. Hammel) (03/05/91)
I noted in the monthly posting that UB12 states a problem with using the equal sign as a delimeter. I can vouch for that: In trying to reach someone through a Banyan Vines gateway the address requires ='s all over the place. This won't work in the alias file no matter how its escaped. Is there any way to get this to work? If not are there any workarounds to creating an alias like this so I don't have to type out what is a rather long mailing address? How about setting up an alias on the local machine to forward to that address? Would that work? Please respond to me directly as I do not read comp.mail.elm on a regular basis. Thanks. Michael J.
