[comp.mail.elm] Use of regexp in CTRL-D,CTRL-U,CTRL-T commands??

Perhaps this is asking to much, but the current use of Subject: and
From: lines _only_ and just with simple string matching seems rather
limited. Enhanced matching is required when dealing with large folders
such as those from a mailing list where I wish to view the discussion threads
together rather than break them up by username.

The documentation even mentions a 400 item folder in the "Reference Guide"
(in connection with the 'l' command). At least one mua supports much
wider selection methods (not regexp quite :-)) which offer much better
management of large folders.

The question is when will elm have this support?
