You've got to be kidding.....

First off, Elm should run out of the box on Unix V/386 5.3.2
(SCO Unix 3.2, ISC Unix 2.?) and also under Unix V/386 5.4
(you might have to tweak the lib search path to include ccs in configure)

However, SysV does not need the BSD flag, nor should it have it.

And Esix 5.3.2, of course.  No tweaking.

Yeah, I've had a problem or two (:-)) getting some other packages to
compile and functions properly, but Elm was the first thing I ever put
up from the Net and I still haven't seen anything else as easy.  Right
out of the box is right.  For my money Syd and Co. have done a great job
making this thing portable and on SCO Unix V.3.2.2 I think it may have
even configured and compiled itsself (well, not quite that easy).
