Something keeps turning the Line Wrap option in my Procomm vt100 emulation back on. The result is that elm paints the screen properly, then rolls the first line off the top while showing the prompt on the bottom line. It also screws things up in vi when a line is too long. I can reset the Line Wrap option, but it changes again. I've been thinking it was a Procomm bug, but the other night I switched to using less -C as a pager. The problem SEEMED to go away. Alas, I've been spoiled by the builtin+ pager's passing of commands back to elm. Is there any way that the builtin pager could be sending the vt-100 control code to turn on line wrap? Someday I'll get a different comm program and see if it too is affected, but in the meantime.... -- A host is a host from coast to coast.....wb8foz@mthvax.cs.miami.edu & no one will talk to a host that's close............(305) 255-RTFM Unless the host (that isn't close)......................pob 570-335 is busy, hung or dead....................................33257-0335
