Recently the following question was posted by don@grce (Donald D. Woelz). I am having a problem with ELM reply addresses. I recognize that this could very well be due to the way I have configured ELM at my site and my ignorance of how mail headers are defined and used, but I don't see what I have done wrong at this point. Some help would be appreciated. When replying to a mail message from someone on the local machine, ELM is using the From: header field to get the return address. A typical From: header field might look like this: From: don <don@grc The return reply uses the address in angle brackets which is then interpreted by ELM to be a remote machine and ELM therefor uses the remote signature. This is the crux of the problem. I would like it to use the local signature because it is indeed a local address. How can I change this behaviour? Was this problem ever addressed? I have the same problem and was looking for a response. Sorry if the answer was posted and I missed it, but it is a minor irritation.
