[comp.mail.elm] X based version of Elm

kent@sparky.IMD.Sterling.COM (Kent Landfield) (06/29/91)

Is anyone working on a version of elm that is X Window based ? Don't mean
to stir anything up but it would truely be a welcomed upgrade here... :-)

I asked basically this question a couple of weeks ago. The only positive
answer that I got was from Syd Weinstein basically saying that it was being
planned for elm 3.0 in '92 sometime.

HP has their own version of elm which comes with an X interface. I heard
from a few others who had seen such a program in one place or another. But
nobody actually admitted having such.
