Redmond, Oregon is in the heart of Central Oregon (three hour
drive southeast of Portland). The majestic Cascade Mountains
are in sight of our plant and some of the best powder skiing in
the Northwest is a short 40 minutes away on Mt. Bachelor (Alpine
and Nordic facilities). The area is basically high desert with
many rivers for whitewater rafting or fishing, lakes for water
skiing or swimming, caves to explore, mountains to climb, great
hunting, hiking, rock/gem collecting, etc. Redmond is a small
city of about 7,500. The city of Bend (17,500) is only 15 minutes
down the highway. We have good schools here and for further
education, Central Oregon Community College is in Bend.
