NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR in Santa Clara, CA, is looking for an
experienced engineer to design a single-board emulator for a
special-purpose 32-bit microCMOS(1) microprocessor.

Responsibilities include design and development of a micro-
processor-based emulator board and the software to interface
it with an IBM PC XT(2) host.  Experience implementing very
high speed microprocessor-based systems is essential.
UNIX(3), C, MS-DOS(4) and 8086 assembly a plus.  Should be
able to work with a team writing software for the host and
writing applications software. Eventually should assist initial
customers with their design problems.

This is an opportunity to be involved in a state-of-the-art
design project with applications in an emerging technology
expected to have explosive growth rate.
