Requires a BS/MS Csci degree with 0-3 years experience in software engineering. Knowledge of Unix, C, 68000, 8086 family and high GPA are desirable. COMPUER AIDED ENGINEERING ========================== Research, development and implementation of software systems for advanced CAD/CAE applications. Requires advanced degree in Csci or equivalent technical degree with solid software engineering experience. Knowldedge of Unix, C and CAD/CAE tools preferred. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE/ KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING ============================================== Research, development and implementation of expert systems for various applications. Responsibilities include knowledge acquisition and representation, design of inferencing procedures and/or user interfaces. Requires MS/Phd degree in Csci/Math or equivalent technical field and 1-3 years experience in knowledge engineering/expert systems development. Knowledge of Lisp, Symbolics 3600 and/or Xerox 1108 tools is desirable. RELATIONAL DATA BASE DESIGN =========================== Design and implementation of relational data base applications for control of textual and graphical product data. Requires BS/MS Csci degree with 3+ years experience in data base design. Knowledge of Vax/Vms, Britton Lee IDM, and/or DG MV series computers is desirable. SOFTWARE TOOLS ============== Research, implement and support advanced software development tools, primarily under the Unix operating system. The position includes providing users with formal and informal training, consulting on software engineering tools, languages, operating systems and development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have an MS Csci degree, 3-5 years software engineering experience, extensive knowledge of Unix, C, software tools, the software develpment life cycle and good communications/leadership skills. COMPUER SYSTEM MANAGEMENT ========================= System management position for Data General AOS/VS. Responsibilities include system and user support, network/communications integration and system maintencance coordination. Requires a BS degree in a technical field and experience with DG AOS/VS.
