[net.jobs] corporate financial analysis

js3471@hou2g.UUCP (J.SCRIPTUNAS) (11/27/84)

I would appreciate any pointers for a friend looking for a first job
in the area of corporate financial analysis (as opposed to
investment banking, financial services, or real estate).

She has a bachelor's degree in finance and would like to work in the
Northeast and eventually/soon go to graduate school depending on
whether she finds a job she likes.

Is this a good time for finding jobs in corporate financial analysis?
If so who's hiring? She's written to several companies, but many are
not hiring.
If it's a bad time, what would be a good graduate program to enter
since she has no real job experience to guide her? Law?

Thank you for any and all responses to me.
