Sun Microsystems, Inc. is looking for a small number of UNIX* specialists and project leaders to work on new problems, including: @ extension of our product line to a broader range of architectures. @ new approaches to VM, process synchronization, networking, etc. @ UNIX evolution and standardization. @ enhancement of system performance. Candidates for these positions must have the following qualifications: @ Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field. @ two or more year's experience with internals of the UNIX kernel. @ experience MUST be more extensive than writing drivers. @ BSD or System III/V experience is preferred. @ strong desire for technical excellence and accomplishment. @ ability to work with new hardware and with hardware developers. @ networking experience is a plus. To qualify for a project lead position, the candidate must meet the qualifications above, and must have experience in a project lead position.
