I am an American UNIX programmer, currently in Scotland, who is looking for consulting or contract work in Europe. I've been doing UNIX work for about 5 years, including kernel work (enhancements, modifications, and debugging in various parts of the kernel, as well as numerous I/O drivers) on assorted micros and minis (including 8086's and 68000's), and applications work (a major interpreter project and various utilities). I've also been involved in support and training. I would be most interested in projects of 1-2 months duration, but will consider other possibilities.
