[net.jobs] National Semiconductor-- looking for a good few people

chuqui@nsc.UUCP (Chuqui Q. Koala) (01/16/85)

National Semiconductor is looking for a few good people to fill openings in
their software development group. Our current product is called Genix, and
is a variant of 4.1BSD, and we also have two new systems due to be shown at
Uniforum-- 4.2BSD and System V. All of these systems run on National's own
chipset, the 32016.

Our specific needs are for a few good senior people to help us maintain our
existing software and work on ports to new systems based upon the 32000
series chips including the 32032, a full 32 bit system. We are also in the
process of starting up new projects that we hope will not only make
National a place committed to using Unix, but a place that helps extend the
state of the art in Unix. My specific needs are for kernel oriented people,
but all disciplines are welcome.

National is a very positive environment that is getting ready to go places
and take Unix with it. If you want to join us in this trip, drop me a line
or see me at Uniforum at the National Semiconductor booth Monday or
Tuesday, or at Usenix Wednesday through Friday.

National is an equal opportunity employer, of course. Emphasis on the
opportunity.
