A few weeks ago there was a job listing in net.jobs that referred to a startup
company in Carlsbad, California. I don't have the original posting, but I
believe that it mentioned CAE, UNIX, C, GKS, and some DBMS stuff. The posting
did not give the name of the company or the name of the contact person.
In the Sunday San Jose Mercury (2/24/85), there was a job ad that reads as
follows:
PROGRAMMERS- New CAE/AI company expanding. Outstanding
opportunities for C, UNIX, & GKS, Mathematics Programmers.
Artecon Inc., 2441 Impala Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008
Since there is not a whole lot of high tech stuff going on yet in the Carlsbad
area, I am assuming that both the ad and article are referring to the same
company.
Does anybody know anything about this company? How long have they been around?
What kind of financing do they have (I am assuming they are not public)? What
kind of products are they producing and for what market?
