Well, it is that time of year again, when spring is just around
the corner,... and students start looking for summer jobs.
So, in the face of the recent discussion re: head hunters, I submit
the following question...
Could your company give me a challenging and exciting summer
position, with the possibility of continued employment after
I graduate?
I live in Silicon Valley, but am not picky as to location. I would
prefer to work with kernel internals or networking, but again, I
am willing to listen to any *interesting* offer.

I am currently a Junior at Princeton University, studying to complete
an Independent Concentration in Interactive Computer Graphics with
Applications to Statistics.
The following is a sketch of my experience.
3 Years experience in industry (working summers and school years)
3 Years total UN*X experience including
2 years kernel internals work
1.5 years news/uucp/sendmail/tcp.ip work
1 year serious graphics work on SUN's
Projects including
Distributed printer server over tcp.ip/uucp network (project leader)
UN*X kernel exercise suite, fully portable (project leader)
Profile and optimize system III kernel (team member, one of two)
Fully interactive 2D graphics editor, menu driven (team member, 1 of 2)
Distributed multi-host graphics editor (1 of 4, did all networking)
Interested especially in
TCP/IP based networking
